Harley, Thanks for tip. I'm thinking about replacing the entire rear axle so that it doesn't make noise and I have disk brakes in the rear. Have you tried doing this?

My '65 convert differential has a clacking sound on deceleration. It's days might be numbered. Any ideas? Has anyone replaced/updated a rear end with a disk brake differential from a Mustang or Crown Vic?
