  • Bob, reading your posts today on the 1964-66 T-Bird forum noticed you have a Fotki account. Here is the link to my Fotki pictures.
Public Home | Al | Fotki.com, photo and video sharing made easy.
Also, since you have a 1966 Bird Town Landau (I have a 1966 conv.), you might have noticed previous posting from 'Terry' who has a triple white 1964 Bird hardtop. Terry & I are good friends and we get together every few weeks for diner with other car guy friends.
Just thought you might enjoy my Fotki link to car pics. / albums. Frankly not been good at adding more pictures to my albums for two years, still have more than 200 pictures to upload.
Your 1966 Town Landau gorgeous. Back in the day, six years old, fell in love with Birds when neighbor bought a new pink 1957 Bird and she would drive me to school. Age nine talked parents to buy a new 1960 Bird conv. Age 12 talked parents into buying a 1963 hardtop which became my 1st auto when I turned 16 early 1967. Age 15, talked parents into buying a new 1966 Town Landau and Dad was shopping for a new Mustang. Dad borrowed my 1963 late 1969, wreaked it. Dad gave me the 1966 Bird. Dad borrowed the 1966 early 1970, wrecked it. I have been a fan of Birds since age six in 1957.
Did you get the early response today and able to see the pics? I will measure the width but all body lines from front fenders back are straight. Perplexing to say the least.
    Bob:

I posted some public pictures of the car on my profile and hope you can access them as I really need to figure this out. The Vin on the car door is 6Y87Q155202 - the data plate is 63D-B-LB-14D-61-4. I could not find the vin info on the radiator support or the cowl. If I interpret this correctly - this is a 1966, built in Wixon, 2 dr thunderbird Town Landau (Special) with blind quarter panel and vinyl roof, 8 cylinder 428 cid, 345 hp., 4 bbl carb, 10.5:1 compression, built on the 14th of April (1995 or 1996??), 1 axle and C6 transmission. I may not be decoding it all correctly but I am convinced this is a 66 Tbird but the front end appears to be a 65 and there is some minor damage/repair to the right front corner as shown in the pics. If you can't access the pics let me know and we will try something else. Thanks again!
