again...there are 2 different rear ends in 55 to 57 birds....55 and 56 are ford style dana 44 rears...(this is the kind i did)..now the 57 bird (first year for it) is a ford 9 inch rear..i don't know squat about putting rear discs on that....can't help you with a 57 rear disc conversion...you are on your own.....but 9 inch ford rear ends are very popular and there has to be several venders out there with a kit for it.....bye...ed
