My car has a 63 ford borg warner t10 4 speed,,the main shaft is twisted at the splines from age ,etc and being used with the too short tbird yoke and drive shaft,,I have obtained a proper yoke but the issue is there,,I can get a rebuild all parts kits but not the main shaft in the dallas...

thanks while i hear all 55s were power mine isnt and is in one position,,I see the bolts under the tracks and have worked on them,,iv also heard that a wrench is needed above also,,with a second person,,ctci article,,hopefully the bolts wont break and will turn out from the bottom only,,nuts...

carb i did a new holly upgraded 57 type w manifold,,reworked the distributer,,one of the best moves I made ,,,55 12 volt

my pertronix took some sorting out but eliminated the resistor and w their coil has the proper voltage needed,,55 12 volt runs great

filters After installing a new holly it shortly became quite clogged with tank residue,,flushing the tank and cleaning the filter helped but the old ceramic fish bowl allowed too much to pass,,I installed a new in line clear filter along the frame rail,,easily changed elemnt etc,,

my 55 has a t10 of some vintage,,doing tailshaft seal and bushing replacement ,new yoke and u joint i come to find out it is not a richmond as I was told but a borg warner,,try tracing the proper parts around the country,,it still is worth it
