65BLUBIRD

Just purchased a 65 and really like the car. I am tall (6 4")so I was wondering if there is a way to adust the seat lower without messing with the seating frame? Are there spacers that can be removed? Has anyone done any adjusting the the bracket/frame under the seat with any success? Drivers side is electric but not functioning.
