Cool

Nothing to get to excited about, I am from Michigan and got the Antique Blue plate. It came to me not knowing what was going to be on it.
I took a look at it and I saw UAB 330...Not too much right. Well I had a buddy go to the University of Alabama Birmingham for Basketball, that is how I know my plates. Plus mine are the only blue ones here in Maryland since Marylands plates are white and boring!

Cool

In some states, you can register old plates from the actual year of your car, and then legally drive around with vintage plates (1964 in my case) for a very cool retro look.

Find a guy at a swap meet that sells old license plates and ask him if your state allows this. He might charge you $50 for a pair of vintage plates.

Next, you place a small metal tag behind the plate which reads ANTIQUE CAR and sticks up about 1" outside the right corner of the plate (but doesn't cover or obscure the old plate). Annual registration is then updated with a window sticker. It's way cool......

Thumbs up

I'm from Australia and am just about to get my 65 bird registered. maybe you could help me chose what to put on thhe plate. The restrictions are as follows:

Three letters, the first one being either N,O, or P, then 3 numbers. TOO EASY!!

see what you come up with then you can email me at [email protected]

one I thought of is OMY.065

but I'm sure you can do better!!!

Cool

Hey Bird fans I'm new to the form as you can see. My plate says FLY 63! Double meaning fly in the slang term as being nice and T-Bird term meaning to fly away.[/list][email protected]

I'm new here too. I got a custom 2001 Michigan plate last year on my van, then transferred to my '02 Bird when it came in late September. I sure got a lot of questions while it was on the van.

It is simply TBIRD02 :D

My 'bird used to have "5BIRD7" (hence my handle) now it sports 40 057 A - real year of manufacture plates that actually tell you what the car is - body style 40A & year 57 - couldn't have found a better set of letters & numbers if we had tried. Guess you want to know what state - Washington - nice green plate with white letters - matches our car well.
