Airco leaks on exhaust
Hi all,
I recently bought a '97 Tbird (the 4.6l model) and am very happy so far. One odd thing under the hood tho: An opening in the board that shields the engine from the cabin, most probably part of the condensor part of the AC, leaks a couple of drops every now and then. That's not so bad on itself, but it leaks directly on the (hot!) exhaust system, generating steam coming from under the hood when I'm driving... Very creepy :) I wonder if there originally used to be some tube/hose going from that opening to some drain where it doesn't spill on the exhaust. Could any other '97 4.6l owners check their engine compartment and let me know of the results? Thanks!! Ivo Janssen |
