Go to this website: http://www.ford.com/recall/recalls_landing.html#ford
and scroll down about 1/3 of the way down the page. Enter your VIN number and it'll tell you if there are any recalls on your Thunderbird.

By the way, when I had my '93, it was doing the same thing. I upgraded to Accel 300+ Racing Wires. That did the trick. Mine kept burning through the wires and then it would start missing. But then again, I ran the hell out of it, too!

I just this morning put new plug wires (Bosch Platinum) and new plugs(Bosch Platinum Quad 4), I have only driven it about 20 miles today, but I have noticed a significant diff. Just another guys Opinion!

Well, its been about 3 weeks now. All I can say is WOW...backwards even WOW! Huge difference in performance. Better gas mileage and a significantly noticable difference in acceleration. I will be a Bosch fan for life!

I replaced my OEM plug wires (51K Miles) with Moroso Plug wires (Part # 72646)--[They are for 96 - 98 Mustangs with 4.6 Engines]--Runs like a dream. :D
