newbie here! saying hello

Hey everyone!

My name is Travis. A few weeks back my grandfather gave me his 1995 T-bird lx with the 4.6 when he bought his new 06 mustang gt.

he was the original owner when it was delivered at his house with 5 miles on it and when i took it was in marvelous shape (he is retired from the navy so he was meticulous with it as with everything in his life) with 157k on the clock.

I work at a parts store part time and help run a custom auto body/performance shop in mississippi. Im looking forward to utilizing this cars amazing comfort and drivability for now but over the summer will be a whole other story.

I've been reading up about peoples experience with these year models of these cars and im very pleased to see that this car is such a gem. It should be a great base to try something new.

Prior to this i had been behind the wheel of a 98 chevy camaro which took me to a first best 1/4 time of 9.98 and then took into mudding with a jeep. My very first car was a 95 mustang gt convertible (best time in that was 11.6) and im very happy to be behind the wheel of a blue oval car once again!

Now that the background is done with just wanted to say hello to everyone and im looking forward to helping out however i can on the board.
