Cool 96 blower motor quit, tranny shutter, power window motor

Hello,
I recently purchased a 96 LX with a 4.6L, amazingly with 43K original miles. The car is in amazing condition. From what I can tell, the car was driven little and yes, it was purchased from the original owner and I happened to know his daughter. Anyway, the A/C / Heater blower just quit, all of the sudden. I am not really familiar with this specific car so anyone that can point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated. I know that my 2000 F150 had a resistor, that I have already replaced once but I am unsure of the circuit in this car. Fuses have been checked.

I am suspecious of the infamous tranny shutter as well and was wondering if someone could tell me what I need to do to remove this issue.

Lastly, the drivers door power window motor is about to quit, in fact, it gets stuck once in a while. Is this one of those that is a pain, or is it simple? Just wondering before I tear into the door.

Other than that, no other issues but, for $2K and so little miles, I do not mind spending a few dollars on it. I just want to get it ready as my step-daughter will be driving it when she gets her drivers license on a couple of months so I want to get all the kinks out now before I hand her the keys and start the many sleepless nights! :yawn

Tranny Shudder

Fortunatly you do not need to rebuild the tranny. There was a Ford service bulliten concerning this issue. Change the tranny fluid and filter, be sure to drain the torque converter as well. It has a drain plug on it. Refill with mercon V tranny fluid. You'll be good to go! Let me know how this works out for you!
