Front rotors warping (96 T-Bird)
I am having a problem with the front rotors warping on my 96 T-bird 4.6.
This seem to start happening several thousand miles ago when I put Ceramic pads on the vehicle. Since then I have changed the rotors and again went back with Ceramic pads. The vehicle as again got a Judder with it really bad when stopping from a fast speed. Anyone else experienced this. The rotors are stock. Thanks for any input. |

As much as I love my bird, there are many things about them that MUST be upgraded before doing any seriously ballsy driving. The brakes is definately one of those things. I have warped at least three sets of rotors and have only let the pads get down to metal on metal only once (on accident). Cross-drilled and slotted rotors are easily available on ebay though for usually less than $100 though.
