new member need help asap

i have recently purchased a 1994 t-bird lx.it is loaded and has a 4.6 v8 the problem is when the car shifts into overdrive it starts to buck.as well as under hard excelleration.it idles fine,only has 115 kilo's.in park it goes up the rpm smooth unless i snap the throtle then it climes with a stumble.i have peplaced plugs,fuel pump,all o2 sensors and still the same problem.the obd2 system says i have a varied reading in a down stream sensor thar is new ant help is apretiated! :)

wow, the activity here is just amazing.maybe i would get a response if i asked about how to change a f'n fuse?does any body know of a forum with helpfull ford people? :yawn you have some neat smileys.not enough to keep me coming back.io don't see a solong morons smiley :cool:

I had the same problem with my T-Bird. It wound up getting worse and worse. I found it did it more under a load pulling a hill . I was the transmission I rebuilt it and all fine now. 160k miles. Good Luck.

er2cc is probably right. Our trannys are CRAP straight from the factory. Try checking www.tccoa.com. Look for the link called technical articles. In it there is a link that talks about good shift kits that eliminate the 1-2 shift clutch-pack-overlap. This would be a god start but, it sounds like you might want to rebuild it first anyway. sounds pretty boned to me.
