Starting problem
A friend of mine has a "97 T-bird with the 3.8L V-6. In order for her to start the car, she has to turn the ignition to the "run" position and then wait until the engine cooling fan shuts off. Then she can start the car. Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.
I currently have a "96 T-bird with a blown head gacket(s) and have had a SC that also blew a head gasket. A common problem with the 3.8L V-6? Again, thanks for any help with the starting problem on the '96. MiMitch |

Starting Problem
My friend took her car in and it was a bad temperature control module. It cost her about $400.00, $150.00 for the module the rest for diagnostic and installation. Thanks for all the help you gave, it was really appreciated. MiMitch
