Exhaust Tips
Hey everyone. I'm buying a 1995 T-bird in about 20 days, and I already have plans to install a K&N with custom intake, and run Flowmaster exhaust. I'm going to be running 40 Series Delta Flow. Here's what I was thinking. I'm going to get that muffler with dual outlet, and then straight pipe it from there (opposed to 2 mufflers on the back hangers). I was going to mount the muffler probably just after the cat. Here's my question: Should I run two pipes out the back, or out the sides, using side-exit body-mounted tips? I mean, the more bends in the pipe, the more horsepower lost, right? That's why I wanted to run side-exits. One bend after the muffler, then straight out. But then, I'm not sure how it would look. I appreciate any comments made to help me out!
