OBDII code P0174
I am getting OBDII code P0174 which says bank 1 (or bank 2, can't remember) is running lean. I have replaced all four O2 sensors, fuel filter, PCV valve and leaky hose to PCV valve . I cannot find any other obvious vacuum leaks. Does anyone have any ideas what else would cause this reading? I thought of having the injectors cleaned but my Ford service CD says the injectors should not be cleaned because they are made of a special material to prevent clogging.
I can clear the code and go for 2 - 4 weeks before the code appears again. It always happens in traffic when I accelerate quickly from a stop and let off of the gas. Is it possible to mount a fuel pressure gauge under the hood? Any recommendations on how to connect it and/or mount it. Leroy 95 4.6L auto |
