This is a discussion on premium sound within the Twilight Birds (MN12) [1994-1997] forums, part of the Thunderbird Model Years category; a friend of mine has a 96 cougar w/ premium sound. does anybody know if there is an amplifier installed???...

i have a 95 t-bird...with premeim sound....yes it has a small amp....was told about 15 watts mines in the trunk...right under the rear deck....its a small silver box.about 6x7.i hooked mine up to a denon stereo head unit..not to bad to install...if you get the harnesses for premeum sound!
