Selling 66 Town Landau
Here is the link to many pictures of the Tbird.
TBIRD PICS FOR ADS album | Bob Hubbard | Fotki.com, photo and video sharing made easy. I have had the car for a little over four years. It underwent a restoration just before I purchased it. Some of the restoration included modification that were not stock, ie, dash gauges, color application on the interior, and one minor in the engine bay, that being the colors used on the air cleaner, and valve covers. The restoration included new paint, engine and trans rebuild, new gas tank new interior, including seats and headliner, new windshield and carpet. Things that were not done during the restoration include the front suspension, which since I have owned it I have replaced the lower ball joints, lower control arm bushings, strut rod bushings stabalizer bar bushings, and front shocks. These were all done in the summer of 2013. In the same time period I installed a new audio system complete with four speakers (two in the rear pkg tray, and two in the doors) as well as a jvc head unit with mp3 player hook up, and a kenwood amplifier in the trunk. While the door panels were out I installed the door panel lights. Some of the pictures show the panels without the lights. The sequential tail light system has the electronic unit so it cut out having to have all those pesky relays. The tires have about 4000 miles on them. The trunk area never did get new covering, but is presentable. The air conditioner has never been connected since I have owned the car. During the restoration, a new compressor was installed, but the system was never charged because it was not converted to the newer freon that is now required. The chrome was done during the restoration, and really compliments the bright red exterior. Presently the car has 77000 miles on the odometer. It had a recent tune up three months ago, and runs excellent. New battery installed five months ago. I have many spare parts that will go with the car, including four stock hubcaps, and complete stock gauge housing and gauges. I removed them when I purchased the spinner caps. Also when I installed the new audio system, it was placed into the upper dash consol. I have an extra upper dash consol if the new owner should happen to want to revert to the stock setup. All in all, this is one great Tbird, I think one would be hard pressed to find another in this condition. The reason I am selling it is because I just bought a C5 Corvette convertible, and because I only have room for two vehicles, I need to sell one. I can't sell my pickup because I need it for work. I am setting the price at $18000. but open to a reasonable offer. Thanks for taking the time to look. You can send me a pm if you have any questions.

Hi Redbird, Sorry you are selling that beautiful bird. I am sure you had some good times cruising in that car.
I hope you get somewhere near your price for the car. Also, good luck with your new ride. Enjoy!! |
