1965 Special Landau
Early build of the Special Landau, Feb. 17, 1965. This is a northern California car. Sold new in the Bay Area. Though now registered in Arizona, the original Balck and Gold California plates, issued to it in March of 1965, will come with the car. It has been repainted, in Emberglo, of course. But the vinyl top and the interior are all original. The dash has no cracks, seats still supportive, PW, PS, PDL,Thunderbird floor mats, Carpet in good shape, one small crack in drivers door at hand pull, a common occurence in these cars. Headliner in good shape except for a small tear near drivers quarter window. 5 almost new thin line whitewall tires. 4 have only a couple thousand miles and the spare has not touched the pavement. Have you ever brought that car to the car show in the pavilions in scottsdale? Answer is no. The car (that car) shown is not my car! However I do own a 65 Special Landau. It also is in very good condition. Except at the door cup on both doors. I could perhaps vinyl spray them or put a patch about 6" Lg. & glue in in place. Ideas are welcome!
