Need help/advice on how to sell a friend's 55 T-Bird
Hi all, let me introduce myself. I'm Jason Broady and I'm helping a friend of mine sell his cherry 1955 T-Bird. I'm a car guy myself having just finished a 69 390/4 speed Mach 1. I'm here because I don't know much about T-Birds and was hoping some helpful members here could clue me in on things to look for and things to expect when selling a classic Thunderbird. I am going to list it on eBay, and took a number of clear photos currently on photobucket. What kind of questions/concerns will buyers have on a car like this and how might I answer them? I'm trying to be as prepared as possible before listing it on Sunday. Any thoughts on value? I know he paid in the mid-30s a few years ago and is looking to get 30k back out of it. It's a nice car, looks like a mild restoration on a very original car. Nothing comes with the car other then what's pictured. No rust or evidence of rust repair that I could find. I'll let the pictures do the talking. Thanks in advance!
