fumes

I have a 60 Bird that I have been restoring for quite a while now.
The engine is fresh.
I still notice odors from fumes from the draft tube.
Anybody else have this problem?
Also my sales brochure lists 2 rose colors.
Springdale rose & palm springs rose.
I don't have the car here right now to check the data plate but I think the color code is K.
It is a very pale pink.
Anybody know which it is?
Thanks,
Mark

I was wrong about the color code.
It's V.
