Finally starting wifes 56 project

Haven't been on since 2014 but finally starting my wife's 56 T-bird project car. Engine has been redone and started, transmission has been redone but time for the tuffer stuff. Where would be a good place to look for a complete wiring harness and also quarter panels? Any help would be great! Thanks, Steve

There should be wiring kits and body panels for your popular car. Try Google first.

Specifically on the wiring harness. Yours is a simple car and there are several US manufacturers of generic harnesses. Go to Summit Racing, search for wiring harness, and narrow your search based on the number of circuits and panel location.

The benefit of a generic is that you can use modern blade type fuses. The panel should also have the turn signal flasher and easy conversion to four-corner emergency flashers. You can also have a circuit for an electric choke or other accessories that you may wish to add.

If you are looking for a factory type harness, try Hill's Restorations, CASCO, Tee-Bird Products or Concours Parrts
