Fairlane 500 in T-Bird drag
Available is a 1966 Town Hardtop, Avery rare decontented T-Bird. The only option on the car is the Town Hardtop body style. The car was otherwize built as a "Loss leader" 390 C.I. 4V, Am Radio, No ac. No power accessories, standard wheel covers. The interior is Emberglo and in fair shape. The car starts and runs, and drives and turns. It stops, too, but it does need a new brake booster. I sold this car to the current owner several years ago. It is a solid runner. The body is straight, to my knowledge it has never been wrecked. No rust. Good glass, The original (the car had been painted black some time ago and is faded badly) exterior color name escapes me, but I always called it "Band-aid Biege" It is a solid 2 and current owner is asking $3500. much more than this admitted #2 car is worth, and I have told him so. Therefore, He may be amenable to reasonable offers, as he is moving grom Phoenix. Az to Austin Tx in a few weeks, and must get rid of the car.
Hey, It's business, and I'd like to see this car good to a good home, for parts, if necessary, than go to a scrap yard, She ain't perty, but, she's a survivor. I'd buy her back if I had the room. Contact me if interested.
