WTB: CORRECT 64 T-Bird Tranny
My grandfather is looking for a CORRECT transmission for his '64 Thunderbird that he's restoring. Apparently, someone swapped over to an incorrect one before he bought it years ago. I believe he said it is called a C6 "Select-O-Matic" tranny. It is an all cast-iron tranny. He is preferably looking for one that's rebuilt and fairly priced. Shipping it may be a possibility depending on the price and condition of the tranny. If you can help, please email me. I'm located in Jonesburg, MO. Thanks.

The tranny for the 64 is a cruise-o-matic not a C 6. Try www.network54.com/forum/260730/
