Post I want a 2002 TC or SC!

OK, I am happy the bird is going to live again, but a 5spd auto? C'mon!

After seeing the Cougar turned into a wannabe rice rocket/Mitsubishi Eclipse, I can't stand seeing the retro bird being
1) priced out of many buyers reach
2) not having either a super charged version or a turbo option, because if you're going to spend the money, at least get something fun to drive and the top of the line.

Just my thoughts...

Thumbs down

I am sorry to say this but the new bird is just but ugly! I have been a Tbird lover for a long time. Having had to TCs a couple of 5.0 birds and a 90 Supercoupe. This new car just doesn't have the style or class of the older birds. And I think Ford made a HUGE mistake by letting production lapse on the Thunderbird nameplate. They should have kept a bird in production till the next generation is out. To me and this is just my opinion, in some of the photos the new car looks like a 53 vette in the front. It does have some of the styling clues from past birds but they used the wrong combination of ideas. Hope they do it better on the next one! And they do need a performance version as well.
This is my 2¢ worth.
