Still have 1989 MN12 Thunderbird for sale. I had the price lised at 1,295.00 or best.I have put $8,000+ in improvementes to the suspention, Brakes, powertrain (including the V-6.I do have most Receipts the car accelorates much faster than a 5.0 or a 4.6 Liter V-8 Thunderbird. No big deal at this point, Nor the need is poorer than the Thought. It will still do over 150 MPH VIA the Auto Gage Tack and correct trands gearing. I had a new Richmond 8.8" 3:55 to 1 ratio rebuild thr track-Loc "compleate" and 235x60x15 tires. The cross drill rotors shut the Thunderbird from 150 to 0 Very Fast. They are Cadium metal compound instead of iron (no wraping). They just work right. I want to purchaace a 460 for my 1979 4X4 F-250 4X4 PU. I am disableled (Social Security) now and no longer able able to road race anymore be it sactions or weekend worrying I di own a 1979 Ford F250 4X4 HD PU. It has a newly rebuilt 4002V C-6.The Vin # sayes the truck was built in St Louis,MO with a 3512M engine. Then was sent somewhere?? The where has prved difficuct to find out where it went. Then returned to St Louis with a 4604V 4X4.The 1979 Trucks were not listed as an option for the 460 and the 4X4 the 460 in a F-250 HD 4X4 is not listed at all. The Vin says the truck was built in Louisville,KY. It was built with the E code 351M--Then swapped out for a J code 460 4V afterwords/ I have had -0- ;ock in tranccking the trick doen, but it is #0569 out of the most I think of 9,999. Ford Obsoletete classified and articles has no knowlenge of the build, The FOMOVO has no revord of cudh a mess and I has a 4002V what will toe 11,600 pounds. Hase 4:10 rear t4rack locl and the front I really doubt it ,but am not sure. Te front braks are disac(thats nice I thought but they are 4 piston jobs-- as in extra big. I am seriously sure that if I want to change to 16" whells 8 Lugs from thr 16.5 8 Lug tire I will need to measure the reare brakes. The drums are big enoughd for a building foundation.I do like the leafs all around. I I get lucky enough to seel ths Thunderburd for $900 -$1,300 then I will be able to get the correct headers and oil pan. The second will depend on if I get a Lincoln -460 correct pan--Thunderbird 429 4V correct pan or or newer 4x4 truck --Wrong pan (could sping set -up on 4x4. So if anyone knows anyone whi nows of any one that caould use an and has a --so on and so forth plaese let me known At
