Starting and idle problems at 1990 3,8 SC

hello to all

i'am 27 years old and from switzerland

I buy a Ford Thunderbird 3.8 V6 Supercharched Coupe 1990

Just as the title suggests

My thunderbird has start problems.
Sometimes the engine starts without problems and also fast.
But mostly when I want to start the engine then it is running short in front but then he chokes off
Or I run and run and run but he will not run

The starter battery is new

oh and the engine speed indicator does not always work

thanks for the help

I have written this text with Google translator

sorry my english is not so good

Sorry need a better translation. There are four things to make a motor run
1 Air Good filter, No vacumn leaks
2 Fuel Pump, filter float level etc...
3 Spark Coil, plugs, wires, etc.
4 timing Chain, Distributer, Advance weights
Test each system and you should find your problem.
