Hello,
I just purchased a 91 bird with a 3.8 so I don't drive my 78t-bird everyday. I would alos like to yank the 3.8 and drop in a 5.0, and info would be greatly appriciated.

I don't remember the address, but there is a website out there with all the info step by step. A buddy and I used it, and it worked, but I tell you after all that work if I do it again I will just change the intake and go carb. There is nothing easier than drop her in run power to the coil and vroom. Unless you are a big time ford entheusiast I found it was easier putting a chevy small block in. Both cars are owened by friends of mine and the 305 will walk all over the 302 any day of the week. Both engines have a comp cam about the same lift and duration, and the 302 is EFI, 305 has holley 600. No other mods.

Oh yeah the reason it was easier is because the 305 was so much less bulky and he wanted to buy a new driveshaft anyhow.
