....burning coolant.. i leave it with my uncle and drive up in a diff car... waiting to fix it... my uncles been changfing it for alternate side of the street... last week, the lights went on inside and havent shut off since... iu had him disconnect the battery... im not there to play with the wires and he has no time... next day, the ignition wont go on... no sound, no nothing... a friend of his played around so now it seems like its turning on, but the alarm is perpetually on, and the key less entry stopped working.. help me fix my baby.. my mechanic told me he thought the heads may be cracked from the previous owner overheating... i had it for 3 months.. its my dream car... my friends and i have been working on a few mustangs.. they recommend stripping the engine and putting in a 5.0.. if anyone has any idea about what it is, what to do... please please help me

sounds like a blown headgasket. and as far as the wiring problem, it sounds liek to me the ignition switch is faulty. now im not referring to the key switch. im talking about the switch mounted on the top of the column under the dash. theres a rod that goes from the key switch, down the top of the column to the main switch, (easiest way to find it) this switch switch is responsible for switching between all the different circuits in the car that "wont work without the key in a certain position"
usually the switch contacts burn or bend and the switch becomes "locked" between circuits, thereby making it impossible to turn it off.
let me know if this works!!
