72 bird engine transplant ???

Hi I am new here but not new to fords. I have a 72 bird with a very tired 460 in it. hte car is originally a early 429 car but I got the car about 2 years ago with no drivetrain. Another story....
Here is the thing. I have a lincoln mark 8 that has dit a deer. I was going to use the motor in a ASC Mclaren but just to much work then was thinking of getting a vic and making a muarader clone. Well today I pulled the bird out of storage and while moving cars around I thought instead of getting another big block swapping the 32v all aluminum motor and overdrive trans into my bird. I just wanted to get some thought into doing the swap. Am I going to have enough power with the mod motor? thoughts were of regearing to a 3.25 or 3.55 to help.
