4.6 Mods

Hi all,

What are the most common mods for the 4.6 bird? Is there an exhaust system that is well suited to the t-bird. I heard someone altering the intake setup to get rid of the violin case. What parts are needed.

How hard is it to change the plugs on these bad boys?

Thanks,
BILL

1. Plugs are easy to change

2. Common mods;

a. Peformance chip from www.reinhartautomotive.com
b. RichardM tube (replaces the violin case) look over at www.tccoa.com
c. Remove the air silencer
d. exhaust system mods usually involve Dynomax, Flomaster, Borla or Art Carr

Or, you could just get a 2002 Ford Explorer engine, which is an all aluminum version of the Mustang GT motor. Has to be a 2002 model.
