Charles,
hoods are generally wrapped in cardboard before being shipped, to prevent dings, scratches, and such. I know from buying truck hoods and battling to get the cardboard off. Lee |

They fit fine. There may be a small issue where I think the hood is peaked and our header panels are not. No big deal, just make a peak on the header with fiberglass. Don't forget about the '72-'73 Montego GT hood as an option. They have feature lines sculpted into them that better match our 'Birds.
