Post Factory tach

I swapped my dash over a month ago from the standard gauges to the gauges with the factory tach and oil gauge. I pulled the harness that went with these gauges, but I don't know where a few of these wires go. Help!!!!!!

if youre dash was the standard "5 holer" there isnt a wire for the tach in that harness that i ever found. simply run the wires from the back of the tach (they are, or should be marked) to the appropriate places.

as far as the oil pressure gauge, you have switched from an idiot light to a gauge. the sending unit will NOT work. the idiot light sender is simply an on/off switch, the gauge sender is more like a reostat (like a slot car controller) change the sender and locate the wire in the dash pod plug, follow the lead in the printed circuit down to the corresponding pin in the plug and connect it.

sounds like a bitch, but it isnt toooo bad.

I swapped the 5 holer to the seperate dash, and the dash also had a different plug that went with it. I traced all the wires and found that they went to a junction block by the starter silenoid. I swapped all of this into my car, but the wires are just taped up right now. WHERE DO THEY GO? you got me.... as for the oil pressure gauge, that's already up and working, but thanks anyways.
