Dust, Tumbleweeds, and AOD TV rods

Wow, making this place a pay site sure did put a halt on discussion, huh? Hopefully now that it is back free again, good, knowledgeable people like The Gearworks, Bigbrownbird, and all the others will come back, as I have.

Now on to some on-topic discussion...

I succesfully put the AOD in the Cougar, and it works great! (redneck-rebuilt motor is a different story... main bearing damage due to nick in the crank oil hole) I ended up using a bent-up C4 kick-down linkage for the TV rod, but that is a temporary solution at best. Hits the firewall and everything else.

My question is, does anyone know of a TV ROD (not cable, lever on the tranny is different) that is designed to work with an Edelbrock 4 barrel carb on a 302/351W?

Either that, or does anyone know if the TV lever on transmissions set up for rods versus cables can interchange?

Finally, Gearworks, are you still offering to act as the middle-man for steering box swaps? Once I yank the engine to rebuild it (properly, this time), the steering box swap is #1 on my list of things to do.
