Models/Replicas?

Does anyone know if a company created a scale replica or model of the 77-79 Thunderbird? I think I have seen one before, but I am unsure...it sure would be cool to find one!

Bought one last year. Snap-together model by Lindberg. Lavender with a brown interior. I paid 30.00 and saw one go for over 100.00. They are on E-bay from time to time.

Yikes!!

Whew thats a little too high of a price...I mean I love the idea of a model, but I don't love it enought to justify spending nearly $100 for one! Either way, I'll keep my eyes peeled...

If you love your Bird -- No price is too much to have a smaller version. ;)

I'd like to find one in the matchbox size version. If anyone knows where you can get one, let me know.

guys i have a friend that has about 30 of the matchbox style,"pull it backward to wind it up and let go" version of our birds. (77-79) i'll get ahold of him and see if he is willing to part with a few. i have one, they are WAY cool! I painted mine with the same paint we painted the monster with!

i'm also on the prowl for a lindbergh model to make a scale replica of the monster too....

paul,
if you find that your friend has some of those "mini" t-birds for sale, especially a dark brown one, let me know.

I love those little buggers. I think they are called 'Scorchers'. I left one of mine the original red/white/blue color scheme and did the other one up just like my car.
