Stop Laughing Please

As the winter months kick in,in the UK the need to clear the rear screen is becoming more desperate.
My 79 is fitted with the heated screen but alas, can I find the rear demister switch? Answer: No.
Without all you friends from over the pond I would be unable to get the car in it's current state and on the road.
Can anyone helkp without laughing too much at a Brit.
Attached are some pics of my 79 Bird. Hope you like them as I just love the beast. (Pure Smile Factor)

Cheers
Mark

I won't laugh, I promise!
I don't care where you're from, You've got a great looking bird, and you seem like a good guy, that's all that matters.
Hell, I'm just a farm boy from Iowa...
As for your switch, what exactly are you looking for? Is the part that you're trying to lacate the switch below the heater controls that runs the defogger? If so, i thing I just may have one .... Let me know, we can work something out.

Thanks Lee.
I'm actually looking for the switch itself to turn on the heated rear window. I have looked all over the car and can't find it. I know it's gotta be there but I'm sure it's earier to find the little thing the wife keeps going on about on her person than finding this On/Off switch.
There has to be a switch located on the dash that operates it.

I must be going slightly/completly mad in me ole age.

Thumbs up Very Impressive

Mark,

Very impressed that you drive the 'bird in the UK, given its relative thirstiness for fuel. Your 'bird looks sharp, though; keep up the good work!
