Thumbs up Regulator help

Just had a read through the forum and enjoyed the input up to now.
Anyway enough of the being humble.
I currently own a 79 Town Landau and I'm having some probs with the windows.
I have checked all the fuses, which are fine, but there is no supply going to the switches on either side.
This has now developed into a matrimonial issue as the wife refuses to talk to me as I am always buried upside down attempting to find the problem.
If any of you people out there could help me out with some advice or just a shoulder to cry on I would be grateful.
Sorry, meant to add. I am in the UK to which might I add that the roads and local police over here really don't like such big cars, but hey, I just love em.
Some pics of my bird can be found on:

I just was involved sorting out the same problem with a '93 Mustang. We finally pulled the door panels to find a re-painted red door on the driver's side of this green Mustang. The 'technician' who hung the door saved on solder by twisting the wires together and wrapping them with electrical tape. People can do alot of funny things in 24 years.

No idea on exactly what's your problem, but I do know switches have a tendancy to go bad after 24 years. Try a different set if you can, I've got a set, but I'm sure you'd hate to pay the shipping bill.
Anyway, glad you joined the group.

Hello guys!

try this. theres a square silver circuit breaker in the electrics for both the windows AND the locks. (2 seperate ones) located in the fuse box. try swapping those out. otherwise there may be a problem in the starter switch on top of the column mounted the the rear of the cluster. This is the main switch that has a rod that runs from it to the key switch. this is where ALL the major power is switched from.

let us know!

ps. if need be, i have a pair of good used motors.

Thanks for the help Gearworks. Swapping over the two breakers done the trick and I now have windows. Not much good when it's only a few degrees above freezing but it's nice to cruise with the windows open for a change.
