Just bought an old thunderbird (69) 2 door hardtop with the 360hp 429 and thought i'd drop in and say hi...

got it with a water leaking into the oil pretty badly 'supposedly from the valley pan not being put back in it' has edelbrock 460 intake and holley 750 double pumper carb. anyway I took it apart today, the block is cracked in the top about 3" and has a stress fracture perpendicular to it about 3"

after extensive research and yahoo searching I used jb weld... guess i'll be the next bubba testimonial if it works...

any hints suggestions for these cars? any info is great, the window designs are crappy on these cars, I accidentally pulled the passenger one out yesterday but I got it back together after an hour of playing with it.

maybe there are other things i should know, also the man that sold it to me didn't give me the keys, is there another way to get into the trunk?

thanks -Josh

Get into the trunk by removing the rear seat and use loooong extensions on a socket to undo the trunk latch.
