How much transmission fluid?
Hi there!
It's me again, from Germany ('68 TBird, 429cui engine). This time I've got another problem: One of my transmission-hoses just went off during driving and it seems I almost lost all the fluid. But I have no idea, how much oil I need to refill, in order to have the right amout for the transmission. Does anybody know about the right quantity of transmission fluid in the original 3-speed-transmission? (I only need an approximate value!) And, by the way: Is there any special fluid recommended for this transmission or can I just use the "normal" ATF Dexron2 or Dexron3?
