Question compression/bumper?

Hey guys just joined, cool site. I have a couple questions! I got a 66 bird i'm just about done restoring for my mom, she's always wanted one so i bought it for her last year and am redoing it for her(my cars a 69 GTO)anyway i got a factory 390 long block for it and figured i'd bump up the power a bit for her by puttin on a 4v,alum. intake, flowmaster mufflers and a cam but i'm not sure what the stock compresion is for a 66 390 bird motor i need to find out so i can match a good cam to it,anyone know?
Also the front bumper is strait but the chrome is kinda spoty, they want $500 and up to replate it in my area so dose anyone know where i could find one with good chrome ethier new or used for a little better price? $500 seems a little steep to me  or is that the going rate for these cars?
Thanks for any help

Woodward,
The stock 66 with the 390 comes with a 4 barrel--cranks out 315HP and 427ft. lbs of torgue, not bad I'd say.

I'm puttin the new long block in this weekend and just ordered some parts last night....725cfm Demon carb/edelbrock performer aluminum intke/comp cams high energy 268cam/mallory dual point dist/MSD blaster2 coil/carter water pump/carter fuel pump/and a pair of 2 chamber flowmaster's so i think people will be surprised with the power it's gonna have for a classic t-bird....should be more than enough power for my 59 year old mother to have under her foot! ;) Thanks again for the info
