Post Constant voltage unit

All my gauges work right except the temp.Could the constant voltage unit be at fault with three gauges working? The temp. gauge in the cluster passes all the tests outlined in the shop man.I,ve tried a new sending unit(for a late 66-like mine.)but still no temp. gauge.Any ideas. Thanks,Cannedband

If the other gauges are okay I don't think the constant voltage regulater is at fault. If you ground the sender lead and the temp. gauge functions it most likely the sender unit. You should use a conductive sealer when you install the unit.

If you ground the lead to the temperature switch on the intake manifold, the TEMP gauge should read full hot.
