custom autosound 740 poor radio reception
I added one of these custom autosound stereos, that fit in the stock dash location. It is hooked to the stock power antenna in the front fender. The FM reception is terrible, strong local stations seem to fade in and out a bit as I am driving. Has anyone had one of these? I bought it online, and was told to call the manufacturer, but I don't expect much help other than telling me it must be an antenna problem. I see a lot of varying opinions online on these. I tried adding a cheap antenna booster, no difference at all.
