How Can I Tell What Options on the Car?

Hello,

I'm thinking of buying a 65 standard hard top. I have the VIN etc., but that doesn't seem to tell me if the car has the heavy duty suspension or the limited slip differential.

Is there some other way to figure this out other than actually looking at the car? Or if actually looking is the only way, what should I be looking for?

Thanks,

The data plate will give you the basics: engine, original color options, build date, differential, etc. Details are here:

I've never heard of a heavy duty suspension on a Thunderbird before, and there is no code on the data plate for one.
