fuel pump

I have a 65 and there is no fuel coming to the carb, I put a new pump in and this did not help the lines are clear. both pumps work when they are not on the car, I am sure that I have in on wrong I think that I am on the bottom of the cam and not the top or vice versa, I am not sure which one it should be. does anyone have a diagram that might help me???
