1966 Kick down linkeage and Holley carb

I have a 1966 T-Bird with a 390 4bbl and a c3 trans. I recently replaced the bad original carb with a Holley O- 80457S 4bbl street carb per the manufacturers suggestion.
The factory kick-down linkage to the trans does not function with the Holley carb. Holley makes a kit but it doesn't replace anything and seems to only give you a way to bolt on the original linkage to the carb. I am looking for a complete solution rather than a custom rigged fixit. Lokar doesn't make a kit for a c3 trans. Has anyone else out there had this same problem? Any good work a-rounds? THANK YOU

Do a search on flair bird site for on carb or Holley and a lot of suggestions come up. There is one titled replacement carb that may be of use to you.
