1966 Town Roof Side Bird Emblem mounting holes

Howdy T-Bird owners/fans/experts,

A couple of years ago I removed the vinyl roof and all the trim to fix some minor rust. I am not putting back the Landau bars (or the vinyl.) Instead I was thinking of putting on the '66 bird emblems.

When I was sanding the sides of my roof, a hard strip about a 1/2" wide covered these three 0.170" diameter holes. So I was thinking these holes were used for the bird emblems on Town Hardtop models.

The problem is (maybe it's a problem) the holes are not perfectly inline. The front two are, but the back one is slightly higher. The distance between the holes is 4.7" measured from the outside two holes to the center hole - from the center of each hole.

Can someone tell me if the bird emblem's pins are perfectly in a line? You can check it with any straight edge. If anyone has an emblem, can you take a picture of the back of it?

The picture shows my passenger side roof. I am using hole plugs to cover the big Landau bar holes for now (there are 4 of those per side.) But I am asking about the three small holes. Thanks.
