C6sf a is correct for a 66 Thunderbird. You should look on foot of carb for positive id. There should be a solid steel line going from fuel pump to carb. I know the filter your talking about, But maybe someone just put it there.

I have a stainless line come up front of the motor, bends over the top and stops, I have included a link with the filter, which includes the piece of gas line , that short piece has to do a 90 degree turn and almost squashes or kinks the gas line going into the carb its is just really tight , I was hoping to improve on this set up , please see link, Thanks Again

Your fuel pump should have a filter can on the underside of it. The line that is cut off near your carb should not be cut off. Steel line should screw directly into carb with inverted flair fitting. I think either someone screwed that filter in where it don't belong or the carb is for a different application or year. You have to look on foot of carb. You can cut steel line shorter so you wind up with a more relaxed bend on your rubber line
