Replacing the brake booster on a 65

I would like to hear any tricks of the trade for getting the four nuts off and back on again under the dash. I can just barely get a wrench on some of the nuts and even if I can get them all off, I can't imagine how to get them stated again back on the threads so that I can tighten them down.........

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I've done this on my '64 a couple of times now, but with the steering column in and out. It's much easier with the column out, but can be done either way with patience. If you haven't pulled the driver's seat, you should--it will make accessing the bolts a bit easier.

I found that the booster won't come out on my car unless the left valve cover is also removed.

Boy, you weren't kidding about taking the seat out. Makes things at least doable with enough patience vs. trying it with the seat in...... thx

1 have a couple 66 Birds. Just curious, I remember taking the pin out of the rod under the dash then the four bolts on back of the booster itself to remove and replace. This was quite awhile ago, Maybe my memory playing tricks on me
