does any one know were to buy the right cable ?for my 1966 town bird

I would think all the T-Bird suppliers would stock them.

That is were got them from all four of them and they did not fit were to short

That's interesting. Years back I had trouble like that. Was putting together a 66 Conv. with a cruise o matic trans. The parts car I had was a hardtop with a C-6 trans. The cables did not interchange, Thinking the trouble was not Hardtop or Conv.. I think the issue could have been which trans was in the car. I think the C-6 trans has a shorter mount for the cable rocker/equalizer, But that's just my guess. Maybe you should see if there is a difference because of the trans. Did you try calling Pat Wilson or maybe John Draxler at the thunderbird ranch?

no I have not tried pat Wilson but will have to and yes I have a c6 trans

C-6 you have a later build date also, So maybe there was even a change then. Let us know what you find out.

I talked to Dug at pat Wilson"s and he said that I put on after marked brake shoes and thy were wrong
