I guess it would be a petty fair trade. Depends on what you think you would have the most fun with. In my opinion neither one is going to have a big deal price increase, Although P/Us are starting to be desirable. There is a pretty good following for the Birds also and good parts availability. If you like to go on longer drives you would certainly have more comfort in the T-Bird. I think it may copme down to a personal preference rather then a value thing between these two. I have both and when I want to take a nice ride out comes one of the T-Birds! BTW my 53 F-100 kinda like yours.

I'll get u some more pics first chance I get. I have a 289 with a 3 speed FMX trans in mine. Probably have $18,000 in it. Seems if you like the big birds Bullet Birds 61 62 63 and Flair Birds 64 65 66 seem to be popular. I like the 64 65 and 66 best. Depending on drive train and what else is in your truck may be worth 4 or 5000 more then the t-Bird you have posted IMO

Looks like a pretty nice 66. It would be nice to know if it is a Q code 428 or a Z code 390. Is it a early build or late build early has a cruise-o-matic trans late has a C-6 IMO both okay most like the C-6. How does it shift when cold? If trans is bad will take fotever to shift into third till trans gets warm. Does steering wheel shake up and down and side ways when in park? Bushings and shift lever tend to wear and they are known to slip out of park. Does serial # on door match the ones on radiator support and windshield cowl? Good thing about a 66 they have front disc brakes ( started in 65) Then usual stuff bondo ,Rust, cracked dash, oil pressure when hot, Etc.
