Hello,
I have a 1964 Thunderbird. I have a Relay that is getting hot and smoking so I took it off. I dont know what relay it is I have sear everywhere and cant identify it. Someone please help. It sits on the front relay box by the battery. I have posted pictures. It has three prongs. AN UPDATE. I have found out that its a resistor thats in the transistorized ignition system. Does anyone know where I can obtain one or maybe bypass the system.

I see you are from Pomona, try taking part into Larry's Thunderbird. I can take a look tonight when I get home or of course check shop manual.

Thanks for the response I found the part at NOS parts website. I think I'm going to have to phase out that transistorized ignition system. I feel like it might be conflicting with the Petronix. I might have to run a 12V wire to the ignition coil.
